Kim Delaney is an American actress best known for her role as the role of Detective Diane Russell in ABCs series NYPD Blue for which she received the Emmy Award. She has also starred in shows like All My Children Philly CSI: Miami, Army Wives and CSI: Miami. Delaney was the only girl of her mother who was a homemaker and senior executive from her union, the United Auto Workers. Delaney was a child in the company of four brothers. Though she had a goal of becoming journalist, it wasn't until the time of her high school days when Delaney started modeling. When she moved from New York City and gaining an experience working with commercials and commercials in New York did she achieve her dream of becoming aspiring court reporters. Her first role as an actor was when she was a young, innocent girl in the 1981 soap opera All My Children. Delaney, a young actress who was in her 20s, appeared in several films TV movies as well as dramas. Personally, her professional has not been successful and happy. She is gifted and gorgeous, has struggled with alcoholism before. The marriages she has had ended in failure two times. In 2005, the actress lost custody over her only son.
